[QGLUG] Site update and Installfest Plan

Aha where is everyone? Last Saturday I meet Cristian Bradiceanu with one
friend from Romanian Embassy. It was a pleasant morning as the whether
is nice although there is a humid but it's fine.... Nice chat too more
on what's up here there .ro/.ph/.qa/ and www (everywhere) also chatting
about asterisk.... Hope can can do some meet up again this December for
those people not going for Christmas vacation......


I just updated the site http://qglug.org/ put some photo's and content
about advocacy....


Ok now I will ask everybody regarding 'Installfest' does anyone here
wants to be a volunteer or I mean dedicated to this activity?


Here is the enlisted guys I think willing.

Things we need to workout;

     1. Organize a formal letter to present to company on what purpose
        is that activity.
        
     2. Assign to the person what company he will visit and present
        QGLUG and to gain a support/sponsorship something similar.
        
     3. Brainstorming, things we need to do.
        


Things you should expect from me; :) 

     1. I can bring mostly 2 desktop 2 Monitors
        
     2. 1 old laptop
        
     3. Cisco switch if Daryle will allow us to use one port of their
        network
        
     4. Network Cable
        
     5. Wirless AP
        


Installfest target date:

4th Quarter of January, that will be around January 25 onwards or,

somewhere in February if things get difficult on sorting out things.


Ok enough for me now, I will wait for your response.


Note: I can't do this alone with out you guys, hope we can organize this
thing and it will be the first time in Qatar to do this kind of stuff
and for sure we will be part of history later and more people will be
aware what is Open Source....
