[QGLUG] Are there any movements here?

[Kosala Atapattu]

Hi Guys,

Let me introduce myself first. I'm Kosala Atapattu a long stading
Linux user and a valued member (I guess) of the Sri Lankan Linux User
Group (LKLUG - www.linux.lk). I have moved in to Qatar about two weeks
back (all though I joined this group about a month back) and wondering
what is exactly happening here.

Is this group generally calm like this or am I not getting any emails from this?

just to have an idea how many people in this group, and little bit of
history would be interesting. Looks like people aware of FOSS stuff
over here, I gave out a Ubuntu CD I had to the guy came to fix my ADSL
from Qtel :).

I noticed there are no traces of QGLUG in wikipedia so I thought
adding it myself but don't really know what's going on here...so the
page looks pretty empty. I'm quite free these days and I can fill it
up if some can brief me on what we're doing here.
